Beveridge family

The Beveridge family moved to Australia from Fife, Scotland, in July 2007 and settled into their Harrington Waters home in August 2007.

The family did some research on the internet and were interested in the Rockingham area, because of its proximity to industry, transport, shopping centres, educational institutions, beaches and facilities. The climate in Western Australia is totally opposite to the below zero temperatures recorded in their home town, Fife. Of course, the weather was an influencing factor for their move across the world.

The Beveridges looked at other estates in the district, but were impressed that Harrington Waters met all their needs. Brian is an Engineer by profession and had no problems in gaining employment soon after his arrival. Elaine concentrates her energies on being the home maker. The family commented that everyone they have encountered at Harrington Waters is friendly and caring.

Scott (15) and Neal (13) have settled in nicely and made plenty of friends at Warnbro Community High School and Safety Bay Senior High School respectively. Neal is able to pursue his passion for soccer as a member of the Soccer Academy at Safety Bay.

The Beveridge family certainly has no regrets about its move to Harrington Waters.
