HOMEBUYERS seeking the perfect balance between town and country are lining up to secure one of the first home sites at Heritage Park Estate in Baldivis.
A ballot on site on Saturday, 7 July 2007, will mark the launch of the new estate, which enjoys a semi-rural setting just 5 minutes from Rockingham and 15 minutes from Mandurah.
Tony Mendez, Executive Manager- Residential Estates of developer Rockingham Park, said Heritage Park was more than just another property development.
“With a range of housing options, the charm of the country, all the amenities of the city and a commitment to sustainable living, it’s not surprising that Heritage Park has attracted plenty of interest,” Mr Mendez said.
“This new community will also enjoy a 1.5km bridle path perfect for local equestrian enthusiasts, ample parks with a mix of retained bush and usable open spaces, plus quick and easy access to the Kwinana Freeway, the imminent new Perth to Mandurah rail link and the proposed Baldivis Town Centre,” he said.
There are 23 lots on offer in the first release of Heritage Park. Priced from $205,000 to $231,000, they range in size from 508sq m to 860sq m and all lots include an exclusive technology, landscaping and fencing package
“Meeting the needs of Perth’s current real estate market, this release will appeal to a broad range of buyers. Furthermore, we will be meeting these demands sooner, as the lots are complete and will soon be titled, which means buyers can commence construction of their home as soon as possible” Mr Mendez said.
Rockingham Park have made the conscious decision to only release completed lots allowing purchasers to truly know what it is they are buying, an approach not commonly taken by developers who otherwise ‘sell off the plan’.
Potential buyers are able to walk around the estate and stand on the blocks that they are most interested in. The developers felt taking this traditional approach would be a better option rather than pre selling land off a plan. Ultimately allowing for purchaser peace of mind.
Set to become home to around 600 families over the coming years, Heritage Park will also offer a choice of house and land packages, as well as ready-to-move into homes.
“Buyers will also be able to take advantage of a range of house and land packages, or opt for a ready-to-move into home at Heritage Park which will soon be available. Being able to choose a solution that best suits new homebuyers needs, has been highly successful in our other estates, particularly our well established Harrington Waters Private Estate."
Whether people are looking for a house and land package or a newly-built home, Rockingham Park has teamed up with their partner company The Summit Group to offer a selection of innovative designs from Summit Homes, New Generation Homes and Lifestyle Homes.
“Heritage Park has embraced the opportunity to take the lead in creating smart homes for the future. Homes that not only meet buyer’s needs today but consider the practicalities of living in the home for the long term,” Mr Mendez said. “We have even commenced building of a home that will showcase principles of sustainability and how good passive solar design of the home can make comfortable living spaces.”
As well as individually designed water-wise front landscaping to each home site, buyers will benefit from Heritage Park’s fibre optic technology package which delivers high speed broadband services to each home as part of an overall developer- provided broadband system within Heritage Park.
With almost unlimited capacity to service residents’ Internet needs, the latest network technology will be offered with free connection to all homes and also eliminates the need for any home at Heritage Park to have unsightly antennas.
Mr Mendez said the master plan for Heritage Park recognised the needs of today’s home buyers while responding to the natural beauty and serenity of the 55-hectare site.
With a long history of dairy farming and equestrian pursuits, the site is linked by a short bush trail to nearby Maramunup Pool, a haven for water fowl and gilgies (small marron).
Rockingham Park is a privately-owned, WA-based company with more than 40 years experience in land and property development.
It has handled the subdivision and sale of more than 30,000 home sites in the State and, through the Summit Homes Group, has built more than 25,000 homes for West Australians.
