Harrington Waters

Stage 7 now released
Harrington Waters

Thanks to the generosity of its sponsors, Waikiki Residents’ Association Inc. was able to hold its third Easter egg hunt and bike competition around the Harrington Waters Lake on Sunday23rd March 2008.

This year's major sponsor was once again Harrington Waters Private Estate. Between them, IGA Supermarkets Malibu and Waikiki donated eggs valued in excess of $200. Waikiki Village Centre Management donated $50 in the form of two $25 gift vouchers. COLES supermarket Warnbro donated a $40 gift voucher. WOOLWORTHS supermarket Waikiki Village donated a $30 gift voucher.

Against the backdrop of smoke from several fires burning in the Baldivis area, more than 100 people joined in this family occasion. The traditional egg hunt was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. There was also plenty of chocolate on offer and generous prizes in the form of gift vouchers for the best decorated bikes.

WRA Chairperson, Rob Dedman, complimented the children for their great behaviour; especially the older children who made sure the smaller residents were able to receive a fair share of eggs.

Rob Dedman acknowledged the commitment of the Developer, Rockingham Park Pty Ltd, Waikiki Village and local supermarkets in following through with their support to community organisations. The children (and indeed parents and families) were thrilled with the Easter eggs and gift vouchers, presented as prizes in the bike competition.

The Waikiki Residents' Association is appreciative of this local support and looks forward to consolidating and continuing these partnerships to make our Waikiki community a great place to live in. All support enables the association to devote its resources into representing community concerns at various levels.
