Easter - 9th April 2006
The Waikiki Residents’ Association Inc. decided to beat the pressures of the holiday weekend and hold an early Easter egg hunt and bike competition around the Harrington Waters Lake on Sunday 9th April 2006.
Despite a short local advertising campaign, up to 100 people still joined in this family occasion.

Carols by the Lake - 11th December 2005
200 people braved an unseasonably cold and blustery night on Sunday 11th December to celebrate Christmas 2005 by joining in the carol singing around the Harrington Waters Lake. Talent Quest - 30th September 2005
What a night of talent that was....with an audience of over 200 local residents and 40 glittering stars it all added up to a star studded performance, Councillor Ann Prince was in attendance as Patron of the Waikiki Residents Association also representing the Mayor Councillor Barry Sammels.
